Knitting stitch pattern - 1/1 Rib Stitch

1/1 Rib Stitch is a stretchy stitch pattern that is often used at the cuff, bottom and neck of garments. It is a two-stitch and one-row repeat knitting pattern.

Abbreviations:

CO - cast on

K - knit

P - purl

St - stitches

Pattern:

CO multiple of 2 + 1 sts, + 1 edge st on each side

1. K1(edge), *K1, P1; repeat from * to last 2 sts, K1, K1(edge)

2. K1(edge), work each st in the manner that it presents, K1(edge)

   Repeat row 2 until you reach desired length.
