Crochet stitch pattern - Extended Mesh

Extended Mesh is a simple two-stitch, one-row repeat pattern. It's flowy yet quite opaque. It is suitable for both garments and blankets.

Abbreviations:


Chain an odd number of stitches

  1. Esc in 5th ch from hook (counts as esc and ch-1 sp), *ch 1, sk 1 ch, esc in next ch*, repeat across, turn.

  2. Ch 3 (counts as esc and ch-1 sp), *sk next ch-1 sp, esc in next esc, ch 1*, repeat across to t-ch, esc in top of t-ch, turn.

Repeat row 2 until you reach desired length.
