Crochet abbreviation - Tch or t-ch

Crochet abbreviation Tch or t-ch stands for turning chain. It is a step to move from one row/round to another. Some patterns count these chains as a stitch, and some do not. This is usually specified within the pattern.

Stitches differ in height: sc-1ch, hdc-2ch, dc-3ch, tr-4ch and so on.
