Knitting abbreviation RT stands for right twist. It is a type of cabled stitch made with two stitches. This stitch results in a puffier stitch with a right-side lean.

To make this stitch, knit the second stitch, keeping it on the left-hand needle. Then, knit the first stitch and slide both stitches off the left-hand needle, leaving the new stitches on the right-hand needle. Alternatively, knit two stitches together, keeping them on the left-hand needle. Then knit the first stitch and slide both stitches off the left-hand needle, leaving the new stitches on the right-hand needle. The results look the same.
