Crochet abbreviation - FP

Crochet abbreviation FP stands for front post. It is used with any basic stitch, for example, FPdc or FPtr.

Insert your hook from the front of your work between working stitch and previous stitch to the back of work and bring it around the post inserting it from the back to the front of work between working stitch and next stitch, yarn over and draw a loop, complete stitch as normal.
