wool - n - gather

Slip 1 knitwise, knit 1, pass slip stitch over knit stitch. This is a single left-leaning decrease. It's very tidy and easy to make.

Insert the right hand needle as if to knit and slip it off the left hand needle onto the right hand needle, knit the next stitch as normal, insert the left hand needle into the slipped stitch on the right hand needle and bring it over the knit stitch and off the right hand needle.
