Abbreviations:

Sc spike - Single crochet spike - Work a single crochet stitch into a stitch a row below


Chain a multiple of 2

  1. Sc into second ch from hook, sc across, ch1, turn

  2. Sc into first sc, *sc spike into ch row below, sc*, repeat to last 2 st, sc spike into ch row below, sc into last st, ch1, turn

  3. Sc into first sc, *sc, sc spike*, repeat to last 2 st, sc into last two st, ch1, turn

Repeat rows 2-3 until you reach desired length.
