Left twist is a left leaning two stitch cable that is easy to make and doesn't require a cable needle. There are a few ways of making this stitch. They look the same so pick the one you find more comfortable.

First method- knit second stitch through the back loop, do not slide it off the needle, knit both stitches through back loops, slide them both off the needle.
Second method- knit second stitch through the back loop, do not slide it off the needle, knit the first stitch through the front loop, slide both stitches off the needle.
Third method- knit second stitch through the back loop, do not slide it off the needle, knit the first stitch through the back loop, slide both stitches off the needle.
