wool - n - gather

Knit 2 together is the most common right leaning single stitch decrease. It's also most commonly used when a decrease in a pattern is not specified.

To make this stitch insert the right hand needle into two stitches through front loops, wrap yarn around the right hand needle and pull it through both stitches nudging them off the left hand needle, leaving the new single stitch on the right hand needle.
